For the past 11 years I have been the Patrol Supervisor for the Barron County Sheriff’s Department. Over the past several months several Barron County citizens asked if I would run for Sheriff. After careful consideration I am announcing I will indeed run for the position of Barron County Sheriff in the 2006 fall election.

After spending my entire adult life in Law Enforcement, including over 20 years working directly with the Barron County Sheriff’s Department, I am concerned with the current direction the Sheriff’s Department is heading. I have worked with and observed past Barron County Sheriff’s such as Sheriff Larson, Severude, Johnson and Miller. These men showed complete commitment to their job, the community, their family, and the position of Barron County Sheriff. I believe I have the commitment, drive, and integrity it takes to run the Sheriff’s Department.
